Mandragor Roots - Guild Wars Forums

Where is a good place to farm them? I don't feel like paying the insane price for cakes, so I'll get them myself. I'm always running into Mandragors until I want to, so where are some places where I can easily find large groups?

Just outside longeye's ledge, grothmar wardowns.
But they are hard and you need a full team to beat them, so it takes a long while.

These drop Fibrous Mandragor Roots, which neither Nicholas nor Yajide will not collect. Arduinna's on the right track, that's where I got mine.

I can vouch for Arkjok Ward. Mandragors are all over the place, but I must admit they've been slow to drop roots for me.

Got 15 roots in ~25 minutes, I went as Hundred Blades warrior with the classic 3 sabway heroes. As long as you dont agro 3+ groups your fine.
In arjok ward of course

Discordway with a primer build will rip through them quite easily if you don't over agro. Maybe I'll find the max blue insc. steel daggers I have always wanted.

10 runs?!!?

I have been attempting to clear all the Mandragor, both in NM and HM, and was under the impression the ratio was like >50 Mandragor's to one Root!!!

spent a few hours going up left hand wall towards Traveller, and only have 2 roots thus far

any ideas why they seem so scarce for me?

Arkjok ward. 38 standing plus 22 pops. NM SH nuker + sabway = 16 minutes.

62 farmed so far. maybe 9-10 runs? roughly around there.

did about 5 runs with H/H in NM to get my 15, ran with 4 ele heroes/henchies and myself as an RoJ monk. Everything died pretty fast.

- 600/Smite (smite was second account) 36 roots in 2 full runs ~45 min\
as well as 7 golds and 4 lockpicks ^^

Hero's are the richest players in the game ! in my opinion

dont take them if you want to get the most out of a farm!!

Except Mandragor Roots aren't exempt from loot scaling, so you should get roughly the same number of them solo or with a full H/H team.

I just run two MM heroes, two ele nukers(me + hero), and 4 henchies of your choice, go from Sunspear Sanctuary into Arkjok Ward hug the right wall till you get to the first group of mandragors. In that area there are nine groups of 3-5 of them, and you don't have to fight anything else. Take on the first two groups one by one, and after that you have enough minions to just steamroll over the rest.
The entire run takes 4-5 minutes and drops 0-4 roots(2 on average).
Rinse, repeat -> profit.

i did it with 3 heroes (smite, mm, n/rt healer) and I ran a scythe warrior. Took 4 runs to get 15. Didn't take forever but it was rather annoyign.

i went RT AP with 3 discords this morning and 4 runs got me 16 (9-11 mins a run).

left from haven killed on the way to the traveller. was doing it in NM,

might give HM a shot tomorrow see if adding hench mess up the drops, if they are the same and time is about the same HM would be worth it.

What a HUGE waist of time - other than the gold. 99% of the foe's I killed dropped 88 - 113 gold! I was like gold gold gold gold gold gold nothing gold gold gold nothing gold...

It was crazy. Had I gone solo I would have make 7K a RUN!!! in GOLD.

So tonight..its time to dust off my 600/55 monk and Vanquish in hard mode!!!

This is better gold than Raptors!!!
